Growing store: Judge.me is the value benchmark
At $15 per month, Judge.me Awesome is difficult to beat on published feature-per-dollar: AI assistance, more integrations and widgets, advanced collection, coupons and referrals, Google Shopping, and social commerce sync. A competing paid tool needs to win on implementation or commercial outcome—not feature-table aesthetics.
Visual-first brand: test Loox against conversion work
Loox’s paid Convert plan centers visual reviews, video, AI summaries and presentation, referrals, and syndication. That can be worthwhile for categories where customer imagery materially changes confidence. But the current $49.99 base includes 300 orders, with another $50 for each additional 300 orders, so forecast the tier at growth volume.
At 301–600 monthly orders, the published Loox Convert formula implies about $99.99/month, or roughly $1,199.88/year, before taxes or future changes. Verify the live quote.
Migration is part of the purchase
Confirm export fields, photo/video handling, product mapping, review dates, verified-buyer markers, Google syndication, and widget removal before moving. A cheap subscription can become expensive if historical trust assets do not transfer cleanly.
Our recommendation
Start with Judge.me when budget or predictable cost is the primary constraint. Trial Loox when visual merchandising is strategic and the team can test its incremental value. In both cases, measure review-request completion, media-review rate, product-page interaction, and assisted conversion rather than relying on aggregate star ratings alone.
